Using VR for Safety and Training

At Quantious, we’re not just lifelong learners. We’re always looking for new ways to make training effective and engaging, and sometimes, that includes training in VR!

Our designer recently set out to create a new kind of instructional experience: a VR training program that breaks down the complexity of a plane engine into an engaging, interactive learning journey.

LinkedIn will let you show off your vibe-coding chops with a certificate

LinkedIn is rolling out verified AI skill certifications that show up directly on user profiles, using real usage data from tools like Descript, Replit, and Lovable to assess proficiency. The move signals a shift from self-reported skills to proof-based credentials as AI fluency becomes one of the most in-demand job requirements.

Google Exploring Ways To Allow Sites To Opt Out Of AI Overviews & AI Mode

Google is exploring new controls that would allow websites to opt out of having their content used in Search AI features (like AI Overviews and AI Mode), due to new UK Competition and Markets Authority requirements. The controls give sites more choice, while avoiding changes that could break Search.

AI is now citing YouTube more often than Reddit

Just last year, Reddit was the most common host for sources cited by bots like ChatGPT. That has changed, with 16% of LLM answers over the past six months containing information from YouTube, compared to just 10% for Reddit.

Apple plans to make Siri an AI chatbot, report says

Apple is planning to make Siri a chatbot, similar to ChatGPT, with the capacity to support both voice and text inputs. Apple reportedly chose to partner with Google’s Gemini for this initiative.

With Apple’s new Creator Studio Pro, AI is a tool to aid creation, not replace it

Apple’s new Creator Studio Pro frames AI as a behind-the-scenes collaborator, designed to streamline tedious tasks while keeping human creativity in the driver’s seat. By bundling powerful creative tools with AI features that enhance (not replace) artistic workflows, Apple is betting that the future of productivity is creator-first, not automation-first.
