Apple launches Digital ID, a way to carry your passport on your phone for use at TSA checkpoints
Apple now lets U.S. iPhone and Apple Watch users store a digital copy of their passport in Apple Wallet for use at TSA checkpoints in over 250 domestic airports. The new Digital ID feature doesn’t replace a physical passport and can’t be used for international travel, but it expands Apple’s existing support for government IDs across participating states and Puerto Rico.
OpenAI says the brand-new GPT-5.1 is ‘warmer’ and has more ‘personality’ options
OpenAI launched GPT-5.1, introducing new Instant and Thinking models that improve conversation quality and task performance while phasing out older GPT-5 models over the next three months. Anthropic will invest $50 billion in building AI data centers in the US
